Town of Kansas Pedestrian Bridge Closing

Due to the inclement weather and above average rainfall, the Port Authority will be constructing a diversion berm at the entrance of the Town of Kansas Pedestrian Bridge, therefore closing the bridge to pedestrians until the soils have stabilized.  We apologize for the inconvenience but promise to have it reopened as soon as possible.  Until that time, the Riverfront Heritage Trail can be accessed from the Grand Avenue Viaduct or Lydia Avenue.
