Port Authority Reports on Progress at Richards-Gebaur Commerce Park

The Port Authority of Kansas City, Missouri recently met with community members about progress and upcoming projects at the former Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base.  The Port Authority overseas and manages more than 489,000 square feet of leased office and industrial space at Richards-Gebaur.

Branden Criman Recognized for Work on Town of Kansas Site

Anticipation Grows for Reopening of the Port of Kansas City

Missouri River cargo operations are poised to return to Kansas City thanks to the efforts of the Kansas City Port Authority. Construction is set to begin in April for a series of improvements to former municipal wharf near the confluence of the Missouri River and Kansas River.

Front Street Extension Honored at 2012 Capstone Awards

The Port Authority of Kansas City was recognized as a 2012 Capstone Award winner for its work on the Front Street Extension project. Dubbed Kansas City’s greenest roadway, the Front Street extension is built to boulevard specifications and features pervious pavement, native plantings and LED street lighting.
